Datum Tool Design supported the Bombardier CRJ1000 aircraft programme, delivering specialist tooling solutions for composite aircraft components used within the regional jet platform.

Working directly with Bombardier Shorts and tool manufacturing teams, Datum provided engineering expertise in the design and development of tooling used for composite flap and aileron structures.

The project involved the delivery of RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) tooling, supporting the manufacture of high performance composite components required for modern aircraft structures.
